Broken Silence gave a donation of £100.00 to the Medical Day Unit, Central Middlesex Hospital, Acton Lane, NW10. This is to help the ward kick start a fundraising campaign for an exchange pump costing roughly £25.000 - £30.000 This will enable patients to have blood exchanges at a more stress free and efficient pace. Not to mention allowing the time scale between treatments to be extended, improving the quality of life for patients by improving quality of treatment and lessening the time they have to spend in hospital. Broken Silence also donated a DVD player to the Medical Day Unit, Central Middlesex Hospital, Acton Lane, NW10 to help he patient's day pass by while they are in hospital receiving treatment, transfusions or infusions. |
