Not once in my life did I ever believe I would graduate with a First Class Honours Degree in Multimedia Computing! Thank God! When I was in school I would usually think “One day I’d like to go to Uni, graduate and make my mum and dad proud”. I wanted to follow in my sister’s footsteps as I watched her grow and become more successful every year. I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted to do but it needed to be something with art & design, and computers.

I had the most amazing time of my life at Uni that I would never forget, I learnt a lot about life even though I didn’t move out of my parents house. Uni proved to me that someone with a disability like Sickle Cell or any disability CAN do ANYTHING! No matter what! When you put the work in you can achieve anything, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Uni was blood, sweat and tears and was all worth it in the end! Keep your head up high and don’t ever give up! Turn all negatives into a positive.
My graduation ceremony is in November which will be a whole other process in itself! For now until the New Year, I am a Freelancing Web Developer. I am working on a few websites at the moment and Business Consultancy whilst doing Broken Silence.
